Visiting the numerous Lykian rock tombs behind Fethiye, especially the Tomb of Amyntas, the largest and most imposing tomb with Ionic columns, dating from the 4th century BCE.

Refuelling with 100 litres of diesel fuel for TL 1.83 m (€ 0.97) per litre from the convenient fuel berth in the marina.

Matt: Exploring the small village of Orhaniye, surrounded by the ruins of ancient Bybassos, which is almost totally shut in by a "bookend" (according to Rod Heikell, the famous cruiser and author of excellent pilot books) of steep, pine covered, rocky slopes.

Laundering for TL 8.000 m (US$ 5.70) per 4-kg load (washed and dried) at the marina laundry.

Passing ancient Knidos (situated at the extremity of the long Datça peninsula), one of the Dorian Hexapolis (the six cities of the Dorian Confederacy) which was renowned for its statue of the naked Aphrodite by Praxiteles, the Aphrodite of Knidos, which has perished, but late copies exist, of which the most faithful is in the Vatican Museums.
