Travelling uneventfully the distance of c. 220 nm in less than 3 days (an average daily run of only 75 nm) between Bombay and Goa by sailing the light but predictable sea and land breezes in this part of the Arabian Sea.

Listening to the tam-tam of bush drums and some spiritual flute music played by beach hippies and watching the fire dancers on this palm-fringed beach from the distance of our rather swelly anchorage thus getting a first impression of the Goan easy living of sun, sand and psychedelia.

Entertaining our Goan friends Francois from France, Markus from Germany and Madm from Nepal who either came swimming or by means of sea kayak to SY “Kamu II” and receiving from them both fresh food and useful intel about Goa.
