Meeting Turkish friends Naile and Halil who were curious about livaboards from South Africa, who invited us to their home and introduced us to the life of the modern Muslim middle-class in Turkey.

Visiting Bursa, the first capital city of the Ottoman Empire and Turkey's fourth largest city, as well as one of the most industrialized and culturally charged metropolitan centres in the country, together with our Turkish friend Koray, and touring Bursa's famous mosques, the Ulu Cami aka Great Mosque and the Yeşil Cami aka Green Mosque.
