DM Konni: Swimming and snorkelling with a curious dugong aka sea cow (Dugong dugon), who seemed to have its home near our anchorage, and whose biblical ancestor’s hide might have been used in the construction of the Tabernacle (if dugong is an accurate translation of the biblical animal tachash).
